The schedule is set. Joseph's heart surgery we have hoped for and dreaded is set for Monday morning at 8AM. It should last three hours with at least one hour for recovery. The surgery that once seemed to be so far away now feels too close. As parents, we are not ready to deal with tomorrow, but we welcome the repair of Joseph's heart. We will get through tomorrow with God's Grace and the help of the community that has rallied to support our family. Thank you for your continued support!
God Bless,
Kenny and Mary

Kenny and Mary,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. The Elshoff and Lupica families have been praying hard for Joseph, both privately and communally (last night at our family dinner at my parents and today at the Mass that Matt said at SF for my sister Heather - leaving early to return to Salinas - and me with my unsteady crutch action post broken ankle). The prayers will continue through tonight, and tomorrow's surgery, and with so many praying from so many locations we know that the power and grace of God will carry Joseph and you through this difficult journey.
We all send our love.
Cindy and Tony and family
Many prayers will be going out, now, more than ever for you, Kenny & Mary and your girls, as you continue to demonstrate your amazing strength & faith during this time. For the surgeons and all of Joseph's health care providers that their touch continues to be healing; and for Joseph, that the Lord will watch over him especially close tomorrow.
All my love to you all,
Miss Sheila
Dear Kenny & Mary
We are all praying extra hard this morning and await the great news that all went very, very well. Stay strong
Hugs
Sheila & George
